I’ve been looking into finding one or two “go-to” back escapes for my game. One of the things I DO NOT want to do is to confuse myself with having too many options as someone is climbing all over me in an attempt to choke me. While options are nice, there are occasions where simplicity is nicer. Escaping back control is one of those times.
I found a few videos on how to escape back. One of the videos is fancier than the other in that is includes a submission at the end. Not a problem – if you don’t want to do the submission, don’t pay attention to it. The other video is really good. It’s one of those escapes that you can practice and practice and practice. You can put it in your bag of tricks and call it “your back escape.”
They’re both great escapes though. Watch them and let me know what you think.
