We’ve had a few very minor snowfalls already this season. Key word being minor, so I really didn’t make a fuss about them. Today’s snow, though, is a fairly major storm, so I figured I should capture some of it’s essence digitally. Since I wasn’t sure how I could differentiate these snow pictures from all the others that I’ve taken since we arrived in Maine, I figured that I had to think outside of the box. I concluded that since I have never made a sort of “time lapse” of a snowfall, that was in order. So time lapse is was. A short little mini time lapse of about two hours worth of snow.
Now, I totally realize that things would be so much better if I made this in video form. All I did was take a picture from the same spot about every half hour. Trust me, it was very little effort on my part and to put much more effort into another snowfall post would probably not be the best use of time.
That said, I present to you five pictures of what our back yard looks like with no snow on it all the way to what it looks like with about two inches of snow on it. Enjoy.
