Our Christmas Tree is Decorated

December 10, 2013

Today was a good day for decorating Christmas trees. Perfect timing too. Not too early and not too late. I’d say December 10th is the day.

We actually wanted to put this thing up earlier, but we, unfortunately, didn’t have any lights. If I remember back now, we threw them out somewhere in Connecticut for some reason or another. I recall one set burning out and then something must have happened to the other – anyway, when we looked in our “Christmas Stuff” bin this year, we discovered that we had nothing to work with. A quick pickup of two sets of warm GE LEDs fixed that.

Here’s what we have so far. The tree still looks a bit dry, but we may be able to fix that with some shiny clusters of ornaments. I don’t know. Laura will have to figure that out. I’ve already moved onto other projects. Remember the before shot? Now see the after…

Looks great Jay. I’m going to get mine out of the attic tomorrow. Yup – fake, but no mess.
