I just want to remind you all that I bring you the good stuff. If you want to learn and watch videos of those little Jiu-Jitsu secrets, just check me out. I’ll show you the way.
Okay, I’m being “uncharacteristically” cocky because I’m about to post a video of what I think may be a very handy guard pass. This one’s brought to us by none other than the legendary Pedro Sauer via Keith Owen.
Now, if you understand Jiu-Jitsu and if you’ve rolled with good Jitsu players who know how to use the closed guard, you most certainly know how much of a pain in the neck the whole situation can be. I, for one, have the most difficulty maintaining my dignity once the guard player seizes control. I feel like all I’m doing at that point is swatting a never ending swarm of flies. Good guard players can ruin a night for pretty much anyone.
So what if there was a way to take the situation back? What if there was a fool-proof technique that would quickly turn things around? I really, really have my fingers crossed on this one because if this works, I can stop messing around with a few guys at the club and just pass their guards to take side control. I say I have my fingers crossed because I’ve been down the road of “cool online Jiu-Jitsu moves” before. I would like to have a good review for you tomorrow. I’ll see how things go tonight.
