I have this buddy named Seth. I’m sure you’ll hear more about him in the future.
Anyway, before Jiu-Jitsu class yesterday, Seth mentioned an easy way to get screen captures from video, which is helping him out with his game (by the way Seth, congrats on your fourth stripe last night). He told me how easy it was to do this on an iPad. Here’s the thing – I’ve been using screen captures from video for a long time, I just never had the idea of applying the idea to Jiu-Jitsu. See, this is why guys like me need friends named Seth.
I brought my camera into class last night in the hopes of getting still shots of various techniques. This blog is craving more pictures. But after talking to Seth, I realized that I should be exhausting the screen shots of techniques I use in my rolling sessions with the guys first. I did a few already and am thrilled with the results.
So, I think I’m going to add the pictures to the existing video posts I have. After that, every post I write that includes one of my own videos, I’ll include screen shots with captions of various techniques. Awesome.
Check out one I did last night.
