I think we skipped Spring and jumped right into Summer up here in Maine. Actually, it seems like it does that every year. Things go from the 40s and 50s to the 80s. Luckily, in this part of the country, nights are cool. It appears that the warm days disappear around 7PM. Just yesterday the temps were in the 80s and probably low 60s at night. In the bedroom, all we had was a small fan in the window and I must say, things were glorious. Such nice, fresh air blowing on us all night long. Cool nights in Maine aren’t such a bad thing. But I’m still eagerly awaiting Winter. Let’s get that straight.
All the trees have leaves on them by this point. Even the Ash trees are in full bloom. It looks like they’ve always been there and they are thick. The grass is about knee high and I’ve been cutting paths through it. I’ll take pictures of that another time. It’s pretty funny, to tell you the truth.
We wanted to see if we could cover the entire property and capture as many of the larger (not tiny lawn flowers) flowers as we could. I really don’t know the names of all these – some I do though. And if I’m not mistaken, Laura took all of these photos except for one. If you know what any of these flowers are, please let us know in the comment section below. We sure would appreciate it.
