I just finished the book, “David Rockefeller – Memoirs.” I’m not sure why I read this. Possibly because I was at the book store and it seemed interesting at the time. I also like the feel of a nice heavy book. Plus, it was only five bucks.
I’ll give a few short sentences about this book.
It was good. I wouldn’t hand it to someone and tell them it’s a “must read,” but it was good. It’s interesting to learn about someone’s life, especially when that someone has held an immense amount of influence over world happenings during the past few decades. What I really enjoyed was the history of the family as well as the various organization that David Rockefeller and his brothers either initiated or belonged to.
It’s always fun to read memoirs because you gain a certain perspective. With all the chatter out there regarding world events, a first person view is sometimes welcome. That’s all I’m going to say.
