A New Chandelier in the Family

Do you know how hard it is to find a good looking Chandelier? I mean, there are tons of them out there, but they all look so…so…Lowes or Home Depot. Kind of like, everyone will know where you got it…ya know?
We have been living here for almost 2 years and we have yet to find a Chandelier that we really love, so I made a bold decision today - I would just go buy the best one (I thought) in the store. I called Laura from Lowes and she looked online to agree that this is the most unique one for what’s out there. Even Pottery Barn and Pier One didn’t have much.
We really like the clear glass on this bad boy. It looks like it would be something like Sam Adams had in his house. While I was at Lowes, I picked up a nice dimmer switch and hooked it up to the light for an added bit of romance. You never know when there’s going to be a little extra spice in dinner. I am very romantic, you know.

PS - You better get ready for some gardening and landscaping talk. I already bought a bunch of stuff and planted it. I’ll save that for next post.
