RIDGID 3000 PSI Gas Pressure Washer

A few weeks ago, I realized I needed three new …a , a and a . I am going to have to wait on that , as they are pretty hard to find these days.

Yesterday, I picked up a RIDGID 3000 Gas . I got a pretty sweet deal. I had a 10% off coupon as well as $100 worth of gift cards, so I didn’t feel too guilty buying this thing.

I put it all together this morning and let ‘er rip. Everything works as expected, but the soap is a little quirky. I can’t get it to turn off. I am going to have to look at that. I tried it on one side of the and I think it worked ok. I may have not been using the soap in the beginning. All I know is that the green stuff needs to come off the . I got some of it off, but not all of it. I will try again in earnest another day. My fiend also does this a lot, so I will ask him for advice.

This machine came with four . The first one is for soaking with the soap and the other three are high pressure, “tear your hand off” . I have to be careful with them.

I just bought one today, payed $399, had a craftsman worked a few times but died, didnt have the heavy duty axial cam pump like this one. The pressure is great but if you want to sand wood get a turbo tip, it actualy spins when water goes thru, it will make old fences look new, and clean concrete no detergent needed. Heres a link to hte one I got from Sears http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_07175123000P?vName=Lawn+%26+Garden&cName=Pressure+Washers

I just bought a new Stihl gas pressure washer, and I’ve had no problems with it at all. It works GREAT!

    Couldn’t ask for anything more.

I never did figure out how to get the soap to work right, whether in a power pressure washer or just one of those attachments you put on your hose. Either all the soap comes out at once, or you don’t get any soap at all. A real pain. I also hate the soap dispensers that are solid colored so you can’t see when you’re running out. But this sure is a fun tool to use, especially on a hot day! :-)
