Here is a photo for my sister, Lauren. It has been such a long time since I called her when I was on my way home from Lowe’s. I was so proud of myself for the purchase I had just made…a KitchenAid Mixer for Laura as a Christmas present.
The mixer that I got her was the KitchenAid Artisan Series. I’m not sure why I got it for her. I think it was because she mentioned it once and then again when she asked me to stir the brownie mix she was making for me. I really didn’t want it to be one of those typical “appliance” gifts that spouses love so much. I mean, getting a guy some tools is one thing but getting your sweet baby honey an appliance is quite another. When I gave it to her, she was very polite. She knows how proud I am of my gifts.
Anyway, now that the kitchen is 99% done, I was able to finally put the mixer on the counter. I took a quick photo of it…
I had a better photo than this, but it was weird because you could see my reflection in it. Kind of like that beer picture I took the other day.
So, there it is. After I took the picture, I put the mixer away in the closet. It will come out for its debut when I make the next batch of brownies.

That is the most beautiful thing I have seen in some time. You must keep it out on the counter with an under the cabinet light above it. I hope Laura loves it as much as I love mine!!!
